It is with heavy hearts, but deep love and gratitude, that we announce the passing of our beloved Walter Stewart Ludington . Born on July 27, 1942, Walter left us on September 4, 2024, leaving behind a lifetime of precious memories and an enduring legacy of love and kindness.

Walter's joyful spirit and fun-loving nature were a constant source of happiness for everyone lucky enough to know him. His wit, positivity, loyalty, thoughtfulness, generosity, and leadership shaped the lives of those around him. His incredible integrity and hardworking spirit were an inspiration to all. Whether through a hearty laugh or a kind gesture, Walter's warmth touched the lives of countless people, making the world brighter just by being in it.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Ludington Jr., his mother, Hannah Ludington, his brother, Hank Ludington, and his wife, Bette Ludington. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharil Space, his son, Alan Ludington, and his daughter, Ann Feliz, along with their families who cherished him dearly.

Walter’s professional life was filled with success, as he held leadership positions and earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. But his greatest achievements were the relationships he built and the lives he touched. To Walter, family always came first. He lived by the motto "family is everything," and led by example, reminding us all to cherish every moment and not take life too seriously.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, as a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa.
