Warren U. Johnson, passed away on Thursday September 3, 2026, with lung disease. He was born in a small town, Swedburg, MO. When he was about 6 years old his family moved to Colorado Springs, CO, where he started school. He went all through school there, and then joined the national guard in Colorado Springs. After he finished there he became a long haul truck driver traveling millions of miles, over many years. He then moved to Sacramento, CA, in the late 60’s. He had many hobbies, hunting, fishing, and camping. He also was a ham radio operator, and a volunteer for the California department of forestry.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Johnson, his son Michael A. Johnson, a nephew Tommy Blanton, a niece Kathy Royston, several great nieces and nephews, and a cousin Barbara Darst of MO.
We loved him very much, and he will be missed by all.
He will be buried in the Gridley Briggs Cemetery, in Gridley, CA. He did not want any services.
