William Grogan was born August 19, 1934 in Cairo, Illinois to Charlotte Butler and Sylvester Grogan. He was 1 of 4 siblings and was preceded in death by his sister's Joyce, Frances and Amanda.

William started out in life with a passion for basketball and began his career in the United States Air Force and ventured into boxing. From there he went on to be a "jack of all trades". Loved to drive frequently, taking trips across the country. He was also known to love bbq and fish fry get togethers. A true busy body. Very energetic and detailed minded. You would always see him doing anything he could. He liked to paint interior walls, change furniture around, landscaping and organization. He was a simple man that wanted nothing more than to love and be there for his family. He was a kind man, a true humanitarian that helped any one he could. He also had a great sense of humor and a love for debate. He left his mark on all that knew him and will be dearly missed. He will forever be in our hearts.
At this time due to Covid -19 services at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd. Dixon, Ca. Will be determined at a later date.
