William Lloyd Hatcher was born on February 26, 1941 in Glendale, California to his parents Raleigh William Hatcher and Alicia Hamilton Fisher. He passed away on September 30, 2019 in the ER at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville, California. Lloyd defied terminal cancer for almost 5 years before dying of an unforeseen complication. At his passing Lloyd was with his loving and cherished wife Virginia Hatcher, children Michael (Zelena) Hatcher, Lisa Hatcher and Scott (Danielle) Hatcher. Grandchildren Gavin, Garrett, Owen, Amelia and Kaidy. Lloyd graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Cal Poly Pomona, where he was a proud member of the ROTC rifle team. After graduating he worked for the Perkin Elmer Aerospace Division as the Project Manager on the first mass spectrometer for Mars. He was a U.S. Air Force Captain, a Tax Preparer, and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Throughout life Lloyd was an avid family historian. He was truly spiritual, and was known as one of the nicest, most honest, and ethical men. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building (4125 San Juan Ave., Fair Oaks, CA).
