William (Bill) Jarrett, surrounded by his wife and two sisters, peacefully passed away at his home on June 10, 2017, after bravely and quietly battling a congestive heart condition for the last 12 years. He was born in Santa Monica, CA, and raised in Cupertino, CA. Bill graduated from Lynbrook High School in Cupertino and received his BA at De Anza College. Most of his professional career was spent at Lockheed/Martin Missiles and Space as a Business Manager, retiring in 2004 after 35 years of dedication. Bill moved to the Springfield Community in Rocklin, CA with his wife Jerry. Upon his retirement he became very active in serving his community as President of the Springfield Home Owners Association and as Treasurer of the Whitney Oaks Association. His contributions to his community led him to meet and establish many lasting friendships within the community, where he will be sorely missed. He was one of the founding members for Rocklin Fine Arts giving many hours and expertise since 2007. Bill was very honest, respected, always a gentleman and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. One core value that Bill's life was centered upon is that human beings are here on this earth for the purpose of helping one another and he demonstrated his core value every day of his life. He was always there to help and get involved whenever needed, there for his family, extended family, and within his community. In addition to his focus on his family and community, Bill was an avid Bridge player, taught by his mother, and was well respected by his Springfield Bridge group. He loved golf, starting at a young age with his Father and enjoyed playing throughout his life. He belonged to NCGA, Springfield at Whitney Oaks Golf Club and played with the Monday morning men's group at his home course, Whitney Oaks. He loved to cruise and spend vacations with their close friends at Springfield. The world is a better place because of the many people he touched and the difference he made throughout his life leaving many loving memories. He is survived by his Wife -Jerry Jarrett; Sons- Jason and Jeremy Jarrett; Stepson-Jobe Myrick; Granddaughters- Ceanna, Skye Bella and Kailea; Sisters-Bonnie Ahamnos and Trudy Gentile; Brother-in-law- Bruce Gentile; Niece-Jodi Jaimes and Nephew-Steven Jaimes.
