William (Bill) Francis Wihl

William (Bill) Francis Wihl, 75, of Roseville, CA. passed away at his home on March 24, 2022 of a hard fought battle with cancer.  He is predeceased by his parents Francis William and Rose Marie Wihl and his sister, Mary Louise Macias.  He is survived by wife Paula and his children, Franci (Emory) Cate and Stephen (Jenna) Wihl.  Four grandchildren will grow up missing their Papa:  Cody and Blake Cate and Brody and Ellie Wihl.

One of eight children, Bill is survived by six siblings at the time of his passing:

Robert Wihl, Michael (Kim) Wihl, Linda (Dennis) Kinne, Mark (Linda) Wihl, Timothy (Lynda) Wihl and John (Corrine) Wihl. 

There are many nieces and nephews who will remember their Uncle Bill for his knowledge and intelligence and sense of humor. 

Bill loved to travel cross country or to many of the golf tournaments closer to home.  His travels took him to every state in the USA he could drive to.  He played golf every chance he got and will be missed by many of his co-golfers and friends. 

Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4:00-7:00PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00PM all at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 916-725-2109. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11:30AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7817 Old Auburn Rd, Citrus Heights. Interment to follow with military honors at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 7101 Verner Ave., Citrus Heights.
