Zachary Christopher Chambers Holman

It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the passing of our son Zachary Christopher Chambers Holman. Zach was born Sept. 17, 1991 and lived a life full of vitality and drive. From soccer, snowboarding, baseball, and martial arts as a child to an avid backpacker, fisherman, construction worker and meticulous man he was loved by family and friends who will forever treasure his smile and sincerity. Zach is survived by his parents, Michael and Sandra Holman, elder brothers Justin Holman, Joshua Holman, Joseph Chambers and sister Citrina (Chambers) Garibay, grandmothers Valerie Hayes and Sherry Holman as well as aunt, uncle, cousins, girlfriend Brittany Jones and her two young sons, many friends and his beloved dog Zoey who hiked the mountains with him. Zach was predeceased by his birth father Donald Curtis Chambers, grandfathers William Dean (Bill) Holman and Norman L Chambers and brother Jacob (Chambers) Lidster.

Zach passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 2, 2022 in his home in Sacramento, CA and will be laid to rest on Aug, 12, 2022.  A Celebration of Life will be held by his family on Oct. 2nd, 2022 at 2 pm at The Orangevale Grange Hall located at 5807 Walnut Ave. Orangevale CA.

Zach was an enthusiast of life and was known for his motivational statements often shared on Instagram. He was foremost recognized as an incredibly hard worker. His laugh was incredible.   He worked out and stayed strong  Iand healthy and was a testament to finding purpose and exploring one’s passions. Before his tragically short end of life at the age of 30, Zach had traveled to Switzerland, Hawaii and Mexico, hiked the Sierras, worked in glass art, made friends almost too many to count and made a genuine difference in the lives of all who knew him.  He will be missed and forever loved. Rest in Peace sweet one, Go with God.

Zach would have liked this charity as he l loved the Sierras. 

The National Forest Foundation has created the Sierra Nevada Forest Fund to fund work in the nine National Forests of the Sierra Nevada.
